The first was a speech the author delivered as Presiding Chairman at the Bengal Youth Conference at Rangpur during the Easter holiday of 1929. The speech titled as Taruner Vidroh was published by Saraswati Library as a booklet on 18th April that year. Another essay with the title Satya o Mithya (Truth and Lies) published previously in Falgoon-Chaitra 1328 issue of Narayan, was added to the booklet by Arya Publishing Co. (APC) with revised and enlarged text on 25th August, 1932.
