Rajni
Bangodarshan serialised Rajni during [B] 1281-82. According to Bankim's own introduction Rajni was based on the character of the blind flower girl named Nidia of the very popular Lord Litton novel Last days of Pompeii. This novel too was translated to English and other Indian languages.
