Loka Rahasya
Originally a collection of eight selected jocular and sarcastic compositions from the pages of Bangodarshan in its first year of publication. First published in 1874, it was enlarged in its second edition in 1888 - with another eight essays from Bangadarshan and Prochar. With an accute sense of sarcasm, the author was able to demonstrate the essence of writing about the funny side of particular class of the then society, or of curious nature or behaviour of people - without slinging mud to any particular individuals.
