Bengal- on- line is a wonderful site. But if it is possible to deliver live streaming audio and video direct from Calcutta, I believe it would be an unique experience. There is live broadcast from All India Radio but it is really not too appealing to the Bengalee community in New York.Thanks.

Your site looks very good. However, the perception may be that this site is for Hindu Bengali only as I do not see the name of Kaji Nazrul Islam or any other well known Muslim names. It may be an oversight on your part.

Thanks for your kind comment. You are right, to an extent.... I assure you that we have not neglected muslim greats. Just understand that we are trying to get as much done as possible within the time and resources we have. Bengladesh has been equally represented in Bengal links. Also Mujibur Rahman has been discussed briefly at this stage. Nazrul is linked in Literature links twice. We have not yet been able to even write about Tagore. The items about Tagore are just links at this time. We do not wish to do injustice to either Nazrul Islam or Rabindranath without sufficient research. They are the most comprehensive subjects on which, I'm afraid, we haven't got enough resources compiled yet. We beileve when we have gathered sufficient command over enough resources on them - we certainly will do those Great Bengalees. We have plans for other great Bengalees such as Jasimuddin, Fazlul Hoque, Muhammad Mohsin, Mohammad Shahidullah, Abbasuddin Ahmed etc. etc.

I request all the People and Bengalis in particular , to please raise your voice, so the Our Beloved Netaji's name is deleted from The War Criminal List.
The Orissa High Court on 23rd Oct.98, has directed the Union of India, to get His name deleted from War Criminal List.
Nothing as yet , has been done.
Mr.Kofi Annan has shown his inability to do so. Is it right for us to accept this dishonour of Our Beloved??
